The International Journal of Molecular Sciences will publish a special issue on immunotherapy for brain tumors in 2023. The publisher has appointed Stefaan van Gool, MD, PhD, as editor due to his international reputation as a clinician and scientist in this field. Since conventional treatment options for most tumors of the central nervous system are unsatisfactory, research into new immunology-based strategies is being conducted worldwide.
The special issue will provide an overview of the current state of knowledge and possible perspectives.
