The International Journal of Molecular Sciences will publish a special issue on immunotherapy for brain tumors in 2023. The publisher has appointed Stefaan van Gool MD PHD as editor due to his international reputation as a clinician and scientist in this field. As conventional treatment options for most tumors of the central nervous system are unsatisfactory, new immunologically based strategies are being researched worldwide.
This special issue is intended to provide an overview of the current state of knowledge and possible perspectives.
