New IOZK publication on liquid biopsy
The availability of the patient's own tumor material is particularly important for specific immunotherapy. However, in many cases of cancer, surgery or biopsy to obtain material is not possible. In such cases, a "liquid biopsy" is helpful, i.e., the extraction of tumor cells or components from the blood. The head of our genetics laboratory is co-author of a new publication on liquid biopsies.
