More InformationHyperthermia the fourth pillar in oncology - Trailer for the movie
Denise Rudolph and Rosie Castera are organizing a fundraising campaign to make a film about hyperthermia.
Text excerpt from the fundraising campaign:
With our film "Hyperthermia - the fourth pillar in oncology", we would like to make a contribution to ensuring that natural healing methods, which have proven themselves in practice and for which there is already good scientific data, are no longer excluded from reimbursement by health insurance companies. For example, hyperthermia is still not included in the benefits catalog of health insurance companies and, in particular, in the guidelines for oncology-integrative therapies, so that, in contrast to other countries, it is still offered far too little.
We would like to give you a first glimpse of the film with the trailer.
Our vision:
Equal coverage of the costs of naturopathy and conventional medicine by the statutory health insurance funds!
This requires, for example, more than the 7 chairs of naturopathic medicine that currently exist in order to validate proven empirical knowledge and gradually integrate it into research, teaching and practice. In this way, conventional forms of treatment at university departments are provided with sufficient research funding and can be expanded and further developed, while in comparison there is still a lack of sufficient research funding for naturopathic treatments, some of which has to be financed with the help of private sponsors.
Equal cost coverage of both medical approaches is therefore still a long way off, but we are firmly convinced that we want to continue pursuing this goal with the aim of achieving our own chair for hyperthermia. We explain why this is so important in our film.
