Hyperthermia: The Fourth Pillar in Oncology – Trailer for the film

Denise Rudolph and Rosie Castera are organizing a fundraiser to make a film about hyperthermia.
Excerpt from the fundraising campaign:
With our film "Hyperthermia – the fourth pillar in oncology," we want to contribute to ensuring that natural healing methods that have proven themselves in practice and for which there is already good scientific data are no longer excluded from reimbursement by health insurance companies. Despite good study results, hyperthermia is still not included in the catalog of services covered by health insurance companies and, in particular, in the guidelines for integrative oncology therapies, with the result that, unlike in other countries, it is still offered far too little.
With the trailer for the film, we would like to give you a first glimpse of the film.
Our vision:
Equal coverage of naturopathic treatments and conventional medicine by statutory health insurance providers!
This requires, for example, more than the current seven chairs for naturopathic medicine in order to validate proven empirical knowledge and integrate it step by step into research, teaching, and practice. Conventional medical treatments at university departments are provided with sufficient research funding and can be expanded and further developed, while there is still a lack of adequate research funding for naturopathic treatments, some of which have to be financed with the help of private sponsors.
There is still a long way to go before both medical approaches are considered equally in terms of cost coverage, but we are firmly committed to pursuing this goal with the aim of establishing a separate chair for hyperthermia. We explain why this is so important in our film.
